The truck belongs to Ron Fallon aka Rambo in Folson Ca. he runs a built 350, 205 with a dubler 14 bolt rear 60 hystear front and 44" tsl he calls it the beater, we do alot of trails together and its alot of fun to watch coarse when you don't care about body panels it ads a little different aspect to it . its only got like 4"suspention lift and no body lift but lots of fender triming and persition sledge hammer work hope that helps Ive got a bunch of snow run pictures and some from rubicon and fore dice I'll scan threw and try to get some posted up

You talking about POmona southern Cali east LA pomona. If so i got some buddies who got to pomona who wheel i went there for two years too. You ever go out to azusa canyon or the desert?

thats the one, im leaving end of the week though, goin back to sactown (thats where my toys are) this place just isnt for me. if you guys need a copilot this week though let me know i wanna go soooo bad, crazy withdrawls. never been to asuza canyon though, whats out there? I wouldnt know since i dont have anything here and the few trucks in the parking lot are pussy assed pavement pounders, I laugh my ass off everytime they come back dirty, even had one guy with fake beadlocks on a 2 wheel drive tell me he could do anything i could in a 4x4 til i showed him pics

Al Kaholick: Yep he's still open front and rear. Talked to his buddy for a while when he was wheelin in front of us. His buddy even shouted to him to lock the hubs, and he shouted back he was opened front and back.

If he'd a bought a front locker instead of those beadlocks he woulda done alot better at CalRocks :D:D

The rear bumper was hanging him up alot as well.

Well fordpowr i,m sure youre right about the front locker but he whanted the bead locks for the snow I no that we all had a real good time I towed his truck to and from cal rocs and ronnie was happy to run all sections on saterday there were alot that din't finish the day just curious where was youre rig? :flipoff2:

Wasn't tryin' to clown on him...I was just glad to see a fullsize out there puttin' on a show :D Just what good are the beadlocks if the tires aren't turnin :flipoff2:

My junk was in a big pile on my Dad's shop floor...and still is :rolleyes: It'll be back up and runnin' after Christmas break

Well fordpowr on the one ton stuff youre some what limited to the 16.5 wheel and unlike 15" 16" wheel the 16.5" don't have a safety ring on the inner part of the wheel to retain the tire on the rim so about the only options are skip welding in a lip or using sheet metal screws or bead locks cause when you air down the tire is much more prone to pop of the bead then the above mention sizes thats the major concern not spining the wheel in the tire hope this clears it up for ya a little and as you no all this shits exspencive have a good one :flipoff2:

Dirtbag, who the fawk told you that your limited to 16.5 wheels with 1 ton running gear??? That's wrong. I am running 15x8 $25 wagon wheels on my Chevy 60 front axle. Just gotta grind on the calipers a touch.:flipoff2:

Well madmarx see were it says some what limited to and also i haven't seen a 15" wheel that well fit on a corp 14 bolt :flipoff2:

I have put many 15 inch wheels on a 14 bolts. And 60's and 70's. Course that was after throwing away the drum brakes and going to 4 wheel disks. Which is cheaper than rebuilding the drum brakes in my experience. Next :)

FYI I have Ford D60 up front and run 15" wheels and they are much harder to fit 15" wheels on, all ya gotta do to a chebby D60 is whip out the ole grinder :flipoff2:

I think the beadlocks are a good addition...jsut not as good as a front locker.

I've never seen a drum brake 14 bolt/rear 60/rear 70 that standard backspacing 15" wouldn't fit over....it's only the front disk calipers that get in the way

Ford, that makes sense. I just never checked. Always had bad luck with drim brakes and much better luck with disks. :)

I was talking to the OD truck's spotter and he told me they had a locker sitting in the garage for the front-end but didn't have time to put it in. Stay up all night, damn it. I almost felt bad the way the crowd was goating him toward the end of the day. He did a helluva job making it thru those courses, though.

yep i run 15" wheels on my d60 front and 14bolt rear. grind the front calipers and brackets on the 60 and nothing needs to be done to the 14bolt other than bolting them on. :flipoff2:
