Ok I need to buy health insurance for myself, Kelly, and one kid. I don't have a lot of money to spend, so who is halfway decent at a somewhat affordable price?

We went with the local Tennessee Farm Bureau on their version of the BlueCross Rural Ins. plan for my wife and 2 kids - only like $260 a month. Not bad IMHO, check for a similar BlueCross custom plan offered near you.

Also, since you are self employed, check out MSA's (Medical Savings Accounts)... if you can get one, that is the ticket :)

Be careful though the number of things cheaper insurances dont cover sometimes is as suprising as what they are (like OB/GYN, pregnancy etc etc) I noticed Costco now offers small business ins in No CA to Business and Executive members. Wish they did in AZ

Correct. They are often able to do the lowe prices because they write in limitations on coverage, etc. Nothing wrong with it - just read the fine print and make sure they cover everything you think should be covered for you.

Also, the price I stated above does include maternity coverage (which is like $20-30 extra I believe)

Lance, I would seriously recommend looking up an insurance broker. Yeah, they make a commission on it, but they'll still find you a better deal than you'll get on your own, in a lot of cases.
