Avalanche Ranch Rock Race event #2 Oct. 24-26. Bring it if you dare!

If your tired of cones, stop points, and penalties for brushing a fawking bush then this is the format for you.

You will get a count down at the begining of a trail. 5 4 3 2 1 go, for some the idea is foot to the floor, others approch the race as the tortoise and the hare. Keep a steady folw, hold the rig together as you do on any trail run and blaze your way to the finish line. You will run 3-4 trails each day with a time limit of 20-30 minutes each. Fastest time overall time wins.

Bring what you got big tires, big engine, rear steer no worries here. You think your all that, prove it!

Contact Michael Weaver @ 970-884-7716 or e-mail mike@avalancheengineering.com for more information.

Thanks,
Weaver

NO...DON'T GO...Once you get to the Ranch you'll never want to leave! It's kinda like that song...Hotel California. Great People, Awesome terrain, the best scenery, no cones-real trail running...versus cleaning the backyard or equally as bad, going to work?...you get the picture...

Cool, this is pretty much what I am into here in Pa. except ours are 3 1/2 and seven miles long. 4 laps each. Only about 1/3 make it. Get ready to break! Don't forget, many pics.

Rich and Ryan definitily represented for the Michigan crew.

The entry is $350.00 with payout to 1st 2nd and 3rd place. $$ and product, someone will win a Premier Power welder too.

Bring what you got. Fullsize may start the trail fullsize but on the other end they may look more like a Zuk. Lots of trees.

Even if you don't enter it is worth the trip out. We have been wheeling for over 10 years and have never seen anything like this. We thought we were the shit when we went to Moab and ran Pritchett to lower hell to upper hell and back across the road and down Pritchett in less than 6 hours with a lunch stop. LOL That would be a sleeper run for these guys.

My brother and I thought about building a fullsize just for more carnage! It would be cheaper than tearing our rockcrawler up. So we will see ya there!

The "3rd gear and 5000rpms approach" works well at the ranch.:D

Zero-G on 42" now that sounds like the ticket.

Ken it would be great if you could make it out you would have a blast. With your record I don't know why you are still working. Wheeling should be your vocation.

Please PM your address if you would like entry form and info sent.

Thanks Mike,
I can only reply "I wish"

Are guys actually bumping up to hi range in this event or is a 2.62 low range 3rd gear rev limiter sufficient?:D

We have one entry that knows rock racing is the next step in this spot, so he has bulit his rig to get 55 - 60 mph in low range. Sure to be a good time.
