Just got off the phone with my mother. Yesterday her and madge (my dog) went for their evening walk on the Trails behind her house. As she rounded the corner she came upon a cow, 2 calves and a sheep. I shit you not! So mom tries to shoo them off the trail and they just kinda stood there and looked at her. She continues on walking and started to have this I'm being followed feeling. Sure enough the cow, two calves and a sheep are following her. She kept on walking assuming that they would eventually leave but they kept on following her in perfect single file fashion. After 35 min she finished her trail and started heading home, again with the animals in tow and came up to Loyola and Bernices farm. Under the assumption they were their animals she put them in one of their fields and continued home. Today mom calls Bernice to let her know what she did and Bernice broke into a fit of laughter. Bernice and Loyola got home late last night and Loyola checked the barns to make sure everything is fine, but he missed the cow, calves and sheep. This morning he goes back out and almost has a heart attack when he sees the additional animals. The reason he freaked was because Clarence Simmons, who was our broker and Loyolas broker, was the only person to ever leave cattle in the fields without Loyola knowing. Clarence would then leave a phone msg letting him know what he did. Now get this, Clarence passed away four months ago, and prior to his death was working on a deal with Loyola for a cow, two calves and a sheep!! Freaky, eh?
