does anyone know a site where I can figure out the production date of my FJ? The title says it's a 68 but I want to know the month and double check the year.

if you open your driver's door, it should say on a small silver metal tag riveted to the body(thats where it is on my '69)..if not there, check for a tag on the firewall on the pass. side above the heater hoses coming through the wall (thats where it is on my '65)

The Specter site has a pretty good table that allows you to determine production year/date from your frame and engine (VIN) number.

Thanks for the tip, I had been to SOR.com before but hadn't looked for that page. I found out my body is a 2/68 and the engine most likely matches, which is good because that is what i was told when I bought it.

also you can see if the body was swapped onto the frame match the body numbers to the frame number its on pass side outside framerail behind the bumper.
