Most likely a D30 front and D35 rear

you got a tow package? if so you mihgt be lucky and have a 44. does it look round or like stop sign. more or less.

its an 89, as stated in the thread title (unless that was posted after your reply) 35 rear end on the "stock" and 44 with the tow package. Same as the Cherokee

EDIT: Comanches were also know to have the Chrysler 8 1/4 in the tail end too. Most likely early production years

if the bolts are in a perfectly oval pattern, then it's a non c-clip D35 which basically sucks and needs to be ditched with anything bigger than 31s

if the bolts on the cover come to a little bit of an angle at the top and bottom and kinda straight on the left and right, it is a D44, which is better than a D35 but you should sell it to me for $50. :D Both will also have a "35c" or "44" in the cast housing, it's pretty small though.

i posted a question about that weird bar on a different forum and they said it was a brake accurator sensor or something like that but anyway what type of axle is this?
it is only a 2wd and a rough country 3 inch lift but it gets the job done (ok ok bring on the roasting) but i do more with that then some of my friends

you can sent it to me and I'll just tell you what it is. it's prolly a 35 but if your tail gate says "metric ton" then it should be a 44.

by the way it does have this switch on the dash board that says comfort and power or something like that i think it is the towing package
