: Super Bright LED FLashlights

I just purchased a set of new super bright white LED flash lights. I have been using them for a couple of weeks now and they are great! The battery life is up to 150 hours, far longer than standard flashlights. I hate having bulb and battery problems on the trail and one time had 2 different standard flashlights fail while camping on the trail. I have been looking for something better and this is it.

The larger one has seven LED's and is powered with 3 C cells. It's about as bright as a 2 C standard flash light. It costs $100.

The smaller one is only $30 and uses 2 LEDs with 2 AA batteries for power. It has about the same light as a AA mag light.

These things are still a little expensive but I think this is the future of flashlights when they get the price down.

I ordered mine online from:

The lights were delivered in just 2 days via Fed Ex Ground.

You can also find them at some camping stores like REI

If you're going high dollar go for the Streamlights! Those things are unbelievable but they are worth every dollar.

For the best bang for your buck I say any of the mag lights, and everyready's double barrel flashlights kick a$$ too! I'll post a pic in a little bit of what my double barrel went through and what it looks like now, and it still works!!!!

for a few years now backpackers have been converting those mini mags with a LED instead of bulb, the batteries last forever and it costs about 50 cents more than a mini mag.

not near as bright, but enough to get by.

I would say alot more light output then any mag light!!! Bad thing about those is that the lamp life is low(40hrs?), also the battery don't last all that long.

So these LED lights aren't any brighter then their mag light partners???

AA LED = AA MAG??? CCC LED = CC MAG???
That doesn't seem right.

The smaller one I have seem to put out more light per led than the larger one.
