Here's the deal, I've got waaay more "project" type stuff to do, so
the cj5 needs a new home.

It's currently titled and currently registered as a 1953 cj5. although the exact year is unknown. it is a short-hood/fender
model.
here are some specs:
350 SBC motor, t-400 trans/d-18 tranfercase. A/A adapter.
motor is complete, has a rebuilt distributor, new plugs, plug
wires. edelbrock 625 carb, edelbrock streetmaster intake,
roller rockers, camel hump heads. bore is unknown. cam specs
unknown. I have not fired the motor, but the previous owner
said it is very strong. fender-well headers, turbo mufflers.
b&m racheting shifter. chevy tilt column. rear axle is an offset
dana 44, (3.7-gearing) unknown locker if any, front axle is
I believe a dana 27. drum brakes both axles. tires are new*
BFG 33 Radial T/A's wheels are 15x10 chrome spokes.
**weathering from sitting outdoors, excellent tread**
rear springs say RANCHO on them I have no idea what model#
the front springs are only 2-leaf, and look pretty thick.
the tub is pretty clean, with bondo only on pass rear corner.
I have begun drilling the spot welds to remove the bondo'd
corner of rig. window glass is clean/no cracks.
Power steering, and power brakes are installed.
Stewart-Warner Stage III gauges installed in a S.S. dash panel.

here is what is also included with this vehicle.

dana 30 front from a lo-mile 1986 cj7. (disk brake parts & more)
seats from a late80's cherokee laredo. very nice cond.
2-pair front springs from early 80's wagoneer. 7&5 leaf packs.
if wanted, 2 tie-rod/drag links from same wagoneer's.

Also included is a 1955 cj5 roller. it has complete sheetmetal
(no damage) and very nice/straight frame. the 1955 has 15x8
chrome spokes, with worn 33 BFG mud T/A's. springs look stock
axles look original.
**this rig has a small manual trans, but also has a
PTO drive attached...... (EBAY-!)
the 1955 will come with no paperwork/title/plates. it is for
parts only.

--looking to get back what I've got into it, which at this time
is slightly more than 2k.

both rigs are located in Campbell, CA. (SAN JOSE) and can be
seen by appt. both can be towed with a tow bar, or trailered.
I can loan the tow bar for towing both, but I want it back.

--I'm not looking for trades at this time, so bring your cash
offers.

pics of my cj5: dirty motor pic. 350 SBC, edlebrock streetmaster
intake, chrome valve covers, moroso air cleaner. 202 CAMEL-
HUMP HEADS. I have flex fan for it, but I don't recommend it.
trans is turbo-400 with a tranny cooler.

this is the crap-corner I was in process of removing...

this pic shows the good glass, stainless steel dash, tilt steering,
and the little heater unit is out of a datsun or something.
(the tach-guage has since been removed and is not included)

this is the (embarassing) bling picture. I'll explain... notice the
chrome tie rod, and chrome drag link...... also, what you cannot
see is the chrome pitman arm. the chrome push-bar is pretty
crappy, and the only reason it's even on there was due to an
easy attachment point for the tow bar. you can see the new-
depth tread on those BFG's......

shot of the front fender's which are nicely bobbed.
more bling with the chrome/SS. windshield hinges.
this side of the jeep is actually the bad side. the other has
no cosmetic issues what so ever.

rear axle has AFTERMARKET "MARK-WILLIAMS" AXLES. r&p ratios
are 3.7x

un-sure of carrier type. (locker/limited/etc) when the pinion is
turned with both tires off the ground, one goes forward, the
other goes backward. is that enough info to determine if/
any a locker is present-? I might just pull the rear diff cover and
look.........

last pic of the blue jeep. this shows the same crappy corner,
and rear. I have the original Willy's tailgate, which is CHERRY.
I only removed it because I didn't want it to disappear.
this would make a nice rig when finished. it's almost all there
with it's accompanied parts rig..... maybe I should list this
on offroad.com for the mall-wheeler crowd.

pics of the included-1955 parts vehicle. front shot on this pic.
the attached towbar is NOT included in the sale, but, you can
use it to get the rig home. it also fits on the blue jeep easily
as well. the sheet metal on this jeep is amazingly clean and
mostly dent free. there is nothing more than shopping-cart dents
in this whole tub/front clip. tires are 33" BGF mud t/a's with
about 30-50%tread. weather checked.

more of the 1955 parts rig. left-rear drivers side pic.
I have the original tailgate for this rig. very nice condition.
this rig has an early-style windshield frame, with seperate
wiper motors.... there is extensive firewall cutting on this
one. the beautiful late 70's camaro bucket seat (1) makes
it easy to move around with you sitting/steering, while
your buddies push.....

last pic of the 1955 parts rig. side shot.

pretty nice wheels. 15x8's... straight sheetmetal, the other
side looks the same. no hidden crap. (it's just too much work
to move it away from the fence to take a pic.)

don't forget the "added" items inlcuded with both rigs.

very nice jeep cherokee laredo bucket seats, grey matching
complete with bases/everything..

included 1986 jeep cj7 dana 30 widetrack axle assembly
complete. (excellent donor for front axle kunckles, DISC-
BRAKE CONVERSION)

2-pair of front-waggy spring packs. 1 5-leaf pack, and 1 7 leaf
pack.
if wanted, 2 pair jeep waggy tie rod sets w/drag link complete..

I AM WILLING TO ASSIST in delivery, you show up with a
tow-dolly for one, and I can tow the other with the tow
bar. distances up to 200 mile. you cover my fuel, (diesel) both-
ways, and buy me lunch........... this has to be pre-arranged.
I have thurs/fri/sat days off.......

--comeawn, somebody must need a builder....
the main assets of this rig are:

WARN AFTERMARKET PTO DRIVE ASSEMBLY-! (ebay that sucker)
excellent frame, no cracks...............
wheels are nice, tires are fair.
lot's of very straight sheetmetal.........
matching rear axle as blue jeep, sans the aftermarket axles.

Sherpa,
Is the 55 for parts still available? I could really use the tub. If available, how much?
