Is/was there a verdict on the petition that was signed up at Robb's so they could keep selling gasoline. Are either Robbs or Icehouse pumping gas again or is this process going to take longer?

I think that Del covered this one in a previous thread.

Robb's can't sell out of the back of a truck.

Icehouse was supposed to be OK. Maybe an upgrade needed.

I was just curious as to what the status of the petitiion signing was. Did it help or not type of thing.

The petition caused some hu-bub, but I have yet to hear anything. They are still not selling gas at Robbs; but yes, Ice House is ok on gas. I don't think they even have to do anything to their system. They have air and gas (propane, store, cabins, etc.)

I was up there about 2-3 weeks ago and talked to Frank(the owner). They are not selling gas at all and they got a 90 day extension on the generator issue. The issue with generators is they have too much diesel storage. The EPA says they gave only have a 250 gallon tank but they have a 1500 gallon tank. They are going to be doing a lot of research in the off season this year but it might come down to making Robbs a private club. Private Clubs are not under the jurisdiction of the EPA. I'll try to go up there every couple of weeks and get an update from Frank and then report back to all of you.

We stopped in yesterday ate some lunch and had a

The gas truck has been sold, so that problem is gone, but the diesel storage is still and issue, it sounds like Robbs will become a "club" to avoid the EPA issues. I hope they can find a way to keep on going, sure hate to loose the place.
