Can anyone tell me where to find a decoder for a ford axle?
I believe it is in an F-350. This is what I was told on the phone.

There is a green sticker, it says;
421H

TAG1;
SW140/SYNTH
1L ONLY

TAG2;
S421/H
4L301050D09

A decoding is great but can anyone also tell me where "I" can decode it for that posative shine I am looking for?

don't have a decoder but off the top of my head I'd say it used 140W synthetic oil only, 1 liter capacity, 4:30 gears with limited slip. 10.50 ring gear. I'd guess stearling then. This makes it a metric wheel lug pattern and should be rear discs.

Just a guess, and in no way is meant to be difinitive. :flipoff2:

Thanx Alpo, I am "ass"uming you are right because I called the local Ford parts house and the guy told me pretty much the same sep he said it is a "locker".
What I am looking for is a bullet proff rear end for a Jeep J-10 w/ a 401 that will have a minimum 440 HP and will probably dyno out at 460 HP cause we made a few spec changes. I fear my little dana 44 w/ a trac-lock will be about the same level as dog crap the first time I hit the loud pedal.
Speakin of dog crap, whats with your picture anyways? LOL! and hell, I feed my dog Alpo! He is way to big for kibbels and bits anymore! :flipoff2:
