ok, i got a Scrambler, with 14 bolt in the rear and dana 44 up front (soon to be a 60). disks all the way around.

I have manual brakes and the stock jeep mastercylinder and i wanna upgrade-- but keep manual brakes.

what mastercylinder is available out there that has more braking ability for these much larger-than-stock brakes? what year, make, and model vehicle does it come in...

Buy a willwood racing Dual Chamber MC. Costs about $129 at Summit racing. Should work just fine.

MC are a funny thing..

For mine I am using a 68 Dual disc manual 1 1/8 bore vette master cyclinder..

Why? Because I know of a couple of people that are running this setup and it seems to work really well..

I am running GM truck 4x4 brakes front and rear..

Im using a older 4 wheel disc cadillac (land-yatch) master cylinder and it helped stop my 38.5's alot!! Still need to remove the proportioning valve though. :D

This might not be of any value, but I do know you do not want a '72 Mercury Maquise 4 wheel disk MC. It was recomender to me and I read an article on the install so I tried it and it sucks  .
