Ok, got toy axles, but a chevy case. Need to know my options. Cv on the tcase at both ends? Or do i need something special. I have a old suburan shaft and 2 front toy shafts. But i dont think the toy shafts will bolt to the chevy tcase. Anyone with pics would help. And total cost? My axles are both flat and not angled, but i have about 6" of lift.

1st. You only need a CV type shaft on the rear to solve any "vibration" you might have in the rear. As for the front a regular shaft will be fine. The guy you need to talk too is "Jesse" at "High Angle Driveline" he can take your "stock" shafts and modify them for what you need now. Here's his # 530-877-2875....Tell him "Shaker" says hello

this is what I have in my truck a chevy t-case and toy axles

first off you need to keep the toy frt splines because they have a longer spline ( you'll need all the spline you have if your truck flexs much i use all the spline on mine ) any machine shop with a lathe should be able to cut your shafts and weld on the chevy ends to the toy shaft. Around here they do it for 20 to 30 dollars.
Make sure to get a full compression measurement flange to flang for the drive shaft so that threy don't make you shaft to long and bottom out on the t- case. better to be too shrt than to long.:p

I have a NP205 tcase and toy axles. The driveshafts have 1310 u-joints in them and on the axle end I found(well the previous owner found) thats a NAPA(pretty sure its a rebadged spicer) toyota truck joint and 1310 joint caps interchange!

So what I do is buy one toyota joint and one 1310 joint and swap two caps on each one and Voila! a conversion joint!

Make sure you test this uot at the counter as NAPA is the only place I found up here that this works with.

A 1310 joint may not seem big enough but I break a Birfield before a driveshaft u-joint!:rasta:

I also found a page on the DANA website that lists different flanges for 1310 joints and all their dimensions. I haven't measured yet but one looks like it will almost bolt to the toyota axle. doiny away with the toyota joint all together. :D
