Here is a question that is out of my computer leauge.

I never messed with video at all, untill now. The girlfriend is moving out of state for school, and we will be apart for about 6 months. I still will see her on some weekends, but we usually spend every waking minute with each other. :( :flipoff2:

So I bought two web cams so I could see her when I call for a quick hello. I also thought it would be fun to use it on my laptop to tape me working on small things on my truck.

I cant get the videos it save to be of any usable size.

It has alot of different compression settings, but they all turn out pretty crappy.

Is there any type of program I can use after the fact to compress the video.

Also what compression should I use on the sound in the video.

I took a 8 minute video the other day to test it out, 1 fawking gig. LOL :emb4:
