Anyone have experience mounting a driveline brake to an Atlas transfer case? My current intention is to attach it to the front T-case output shaft.

Why: rig drives right through the brakes in low gear and in reverse.
Current set-up: ZZ3 motor to TH350 to Altas 4:1 to dual-front Dana 60s.
Current thoughts: Hook a wilwood caliper to a rotor (maybe a Coleman). Fab up a custom mount.

any ideas or thoughts are appreciated.

I don't think that it will fit off of the front output. I have the All-Pro transfer case e-brake for my Toyota transfer case and by the time you put a rotor on there and a caliper it takes up a fair bit of room. The Atlas may be different but judging by the pictures on High Angle's website I don't think it will work. Plus, you'd only have a parking brake when in 4WD with it off the front output.

missed that part. Only would work off the rear output

I appreciate the advice. I did a lot of research today and it seems that e-brake applications are the only ones being addressed by driveline brakes? Maybe I should look further into upgrading the rotors and calipers. It just seems that a driveline brake would be a really good efficient solution for extra grab.

Why not do a hydra boost setup using a 68 vette MC and a hydrassit unit from a E150 IIRC. I have searched this alot and have seen where some people running 38's can lock the tires up.

I plan on running this setup on mine. I need to find the post about it again.
