Need some help here.

I have a center diff waggy rear.
I want to run 1 piece 30 spline full floaters.

The two problems are:

1. Are there any spindles that bolt straight up the that funny looking 4 bolt pattern on axle housing? If not i figure I can make a 1/4" adapter to mate another spindle. What do you know? Anyone done this?

2. I have looked at Scout 44 front spindles and they don't allow the 30 spline through. The waggy 44 front spindles do accept the 30 splines but if I use them then I have a problem going 1 piece axles since I can't bolt to the outer hub with the axle.

So basically I figured out how to get to 30 spline full floaters (not 1 piece) and how to get to 19 spline 1 piece ff. I want it all.

Any suggestions?

When you say 30 spline are you talking about the spindle it self? I guess you lost me...


How does the warn kit work? I know the spindle bolts onto the axle flange of a scout, but not a waggy..

What about making an adapter that has a different bolt patter per side with counter sunk bolts so four facing backwards for the axle patter and what ever facing forward for the spindle..

the adapter would be have to be 1/2 inch or so, Weld the bolts in to the plate, this way all your doing is tightening the nuts..

I can figure out how to mate the spindle to the housing. I figure I can do it with either a 1/4 inch adapter or 0 adapter but, I still need to know which spindle/hub to use which will allow me to use a Dana 44, 30 inner spline 1 piece full floating axle.

he is trying to convert his rear end to the setup that I am running. It uses a full float axle that is flanged. The 30 spline axle is too big to go thru a spindle for a scout or jeep, but it fits through the waggy. Problem is that the waggy has an internal locking hub, so there is nothing for the flanged floater to bolt too. I thought since he was going to make an adapter for the funky 4 bolt flange anyway, to just go ahead and use a dana 60 spindle and outers to keep it 6 lug, rather then go 19 spline. Problem is that I dont have any knowledge of Dana 60's or 6 lug applications, so I'm not sure where to look

I know of a chevy only place in fremont that might beable to help you with six lug dana 60 applications..

Let me look up there number when I get home..

My thinking was make an adapter that allows the use of a pre existing full floater kit..
