I just reformated my computer and know the internet is dog slow. It's only dail up but before it would load anything in pretty good time. As far as I know all setting fors the modem, network, etc are the same as before I reformated. When I reformated I upgraded to XP over the old Win 98. I am getting alot of time outs, sites not found, address not existing (pirate would not come up for the longest time), and broken pic links(ie similes and other graphics on sites show up as broken links). I'm using Mozilla, but IE does the same thing. Anyone got any ideas of opitions/setting I can mess with to try and speed this thing up? I never should have reformated... :mad:
