: Where/how to mount Holley electric pump with fuel cell in tub???

I searched all the old threads I could find on pumps and cells.

I removed the stock tank. Fuel cell is in the tub, lengthwise on the right side. Now, I have a Holley Blue pump, and a Fram filter. I was wondering if anyone had some pictures of how they mounted theirs.

I was going to run the line to a bulkhead fitting in the bottom of the tub in front of the cell. Holley suggests mounting the filter before the pump. I just don't see how I can mount it and the pump where it will be safe from below...

The fuel cell has no sump. So the puckup will be coming from the top.

Any suggestions or ideas on what I am missing/not considering...

Thanks ahead of time.

my fuel cell didn't have a sump either but it did have a fuel line fitting drilled into the fuel cell down low on it. you might look into doing something like that.

I'm not sure on the Holley Blue fuel pump some pumps are better at pushing the fuel some are better at pulling it, ya need to find out which yours is..

The blue is a pusher. ;)

I have thought about putting a fitting towards the bottom front. I have the Holley pickups in the cell, so it doesn't matter where I put the fitting.

I am just trying to figure a good place to mount the pump and filter so that I don't end up with the lines all "tangled" or twisted.

I think I might have a good place now. I looked at it fo awhile and think I will have enough room to put the cell all the way forward (still lengthwise on the rightside of the tub) and put a fitting out the end of the cell toward the rear. Then run to a bulkhead fitting through the tub. Then mount the filter and pump together with a 3/8" to 3/8" adapter. Make a couple C-channel brackets to mount to the bottom of the tub to bolt to the pump and filter. I think they will be safe if I run them along the back bottom edge of the tub. I think I could weld up some plates to protect them. Then I can run the line from the pump up above the axle where the stock lines run. I should be home free from there...

Sound good, or a bunch of babbling :)

If anyone has any pictures I wouldn't mind still seeing them.

It's not a Holley, but a E2000 pump mounted on top of the frame rail below the brake booster.

I assume your E2000 pump is a puller??
