So I added this bit of nazi engineered goodness, outta a 85-6 Scorpio Mecur.

105 amps, adjustable voltage, damn near will run under water

So I hacked this mount in, which I think is just as tight and exciting as a 18 year old virgins vagina filled with pop rocks:D

Think it'll work?

Goofy spacers are due to me not wanting to go get the right hardware :flipoff2:

EDIT, yeah I know I gotta get that pulley a bit more in-line:p

Looks good. I am sure this was asked before somewhere but I will ask again. Wat is that engine? Is that a small block? What is your rig(CJ,YJ,TJ)? What kit did you use to mount it? I am in the process of swapping in a TBI 5.7 into a YJ. I have talked to Keith and he had me talk to Loppy and Lop gave me some tips to look into for smog and wiring. Anything you could add to this would be greatly appreciated as I am trying to minimize the headache I am about to get!!!

As for wiring, and dealing with emissions, I really have no worrys in MN. I cut out the Air Diverter valve, Air Select Valve, Pres Cycling switch, Gear selector SW, Canister purge Sol, and the EVRV. I think I could even loose more shit, but Iam not sure, and I hate electrical.

Best thing to have is a factory service manual for the vehicle the motor came out of:D

Yeah, you're also going to need that V-groove-to-serpentine conversion belt, apparently...

Looking good, though. As long as it doesn't move, it's a good mount.

Look a little closer Bob- there is a v pulley on the outside of one of the other serp pulleys. I think he is mounting to that:flipoff2:

Ah! I saw the serp. pulley on the old alt, so I didn't catch that small V-groove.

Of course, that'll be a tight fit to squeeze a belt from the crank pulley past the WP pulley to get at the PS pump pulley. But he knows what he's doing. :D
