For some reason I cannot find anything saying what fuel pump to use on the 8valve swap. I saw two different pumps lastnight. a 1.5 to 4 psi pump, and a 4 to 7 psi pump. Which one is it? Also do I need a fuel regulator for it? I checked 3 different parts stores lastnight and I can't find a regulator. Any help would be appreciated.
Oh yea, this is for a weber carbed application

Art. I got mine from Trail Tough. Brent told me to save the cash, and just go to the parts store and get the lowest pressure pump I could find. I am not sure what the pressure on the pump I got was, but based on Brent's comment I would say the 1.5 to 4 lb version. I ran it without any regulator and it ran great (I have sincer switched to EFI). Mine was with the stock carb though. I would think the Weber would be the same but I don;t know for sure. You would only need a regualtor if you got a pump that had too much pressure. I would get the lighter one and put it on and try it, it should work fine. If not, you are only out $30 or so right? If you don't want to mess with it, order one from Brent. I am sure he knows exactly what you need to use for that application.

You should use a pump capable of producing 35 psi. So the two pumps you're considering probabley won't work. They're probabley intended for use in a carberated application. He mentions a Ford truck pump. I just swapped the Track/Kick pump into my Samurai tank.:D

That is great info but it is for the efi set up. I'm gonna run a carb for a while until I get around to building that harness.
