I know someone thats running them SOA on his YJ. He said they run pretty smooth. Im personally running RE extreme duty's and they ride real nice SOA.

My boyfriend has BDS and hates them! He's had to get warranty coverage on the rear springs once already for severe sagging (over 2" or sag after 3 months of use) and he's ready to take in the replacement pair due to the same problem.

They are used on his heep in a SUA application.

Also....the BDS in my honest opinion deliver a hard ride compared to my RE springs. The difference between the two brands are like night and day.

I would NOT recommend BDS springs to anyone - the only thing good about them is their lifetime warranty - which I guarantee you'll take advantage of when they start to sag.

Ok well i had a set of the RE 4.5" Extreme duty and they sucked. talk about a stiff ride. so if the RE are better than the BDS then BDS must really suck.

I've got that same lift in my heep and I can say that the ride is perfect! When on rocks they smooth out the bumps and jolts and in mud they are firm enough to get me where I wanna go.

I can't say enough about RE springs. When I go SOA (when these ones finally flatten), I'll be buying RE SOA springs.

On a side note - a friend of mine just put an 8" Skyjacker lift in his XJ and apparently he's quite happy with the ride.

You may wanna check into them if you don't wanna go with BDS or RE.
