1963 21' Century Coronado
Original Tahoe boat. She was delivered to Tahoe on August 10th 1963 by Sierra Boat (http://www.sierraboat.com/). She was a special build for Tahoe. Century installed a special dual quad Chrysler 426 Wedge (350 HP) for stunning performance at Tahoe's 6200ft of elevation. All other Coronado's came with a 300hp 413. Custom powder coated trailer with surge brakes. Just received new tires and wheels , not in picture. Complete OEM spec interior last year.

Engine just received a complete re-plumb and full tune with both OEM carbs getting a rebush and rebuild. Only 280 hours on her since 1963! Transmission is a bulletproof Velvet drive 72C. She has a custom TIG welded 316 SS gas tank two years ago (36Gallon) She does 40s at Tahoe and mid 50s at folsom/delta

Hard top was removed and is easily re-installed. All new top windows and vinyl are included.

She eats up Tahoe's big water and carries 9 passengers in three bench seats. Hull delivers a nice wake for play or ski.

"Maxine" currently resides on a buoy on the north shore and is in superb daily user mechanical condition.

Old Scout 08-24-2003, 03:08 PM It's a Family boat. TRPA is ripping out our bouy, so we need to thin down the fleet down from 5 boats. TRPA is removing 700-1200 bouys from Tahoe this fall and the cost of finding a new one for next year is $$$! The fawking greens are are at it again!!!!!
