Lockright is from a Toy IFS. Can I fit it into my 85 Toy SA?

correct me if I am wrong but isn't IFS 7.5", solid is 8" (ring gear).

I could be wrong. I thought that 4cyl straight axles diffs were 7.5" and 6cyl were 8"

I guess my question should be, will an IFS lockright fit my 4cyl carrier in m SA?

All Toy 4x4 straight axles are 8 inch gears. The V6 axles have different drop outs with stronger carriers.
So, you jsut need to know if you have the 2-pinion or 4-pinion carrier.

The IFS front is a 7.5, the 2WD rear is a 7.5, but the jury is still out on whether they are the same.

no a lockright from the 7.5 in diff will not work in an 8 inch third
