I have a 89 yj. I put a 350 with a sm465/np205 drivetrain in my jeep. I want to go with a hydraulic clutch. I have the aluminum bell housing that came stock with this setup. My question is what slave cylinder are you guys using with this kind of setup. I have been told the sm465 needs 1-1/8" throw from the slave cylinder in order to disengage the clutch. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I hope that helps, took about 4 seconds to hit the SEARCH button and type in sm465 hydrolic clutch.
Check with the guys at coloradoK5 or ask on the chevy board, might find more info than what I found.

My '82CJ7 with a 350/SM465 uses a Land Cruiser Master/Slave. :D
Works great

Just use a stock cj master and slave. Its easy to find replacement parts for when it breaks and it works fine

Dito to what geepin CJ7 said, but use a slave/master from a CJ with the 4cyl 151 Iron Duke, it's a GM engine and the mounting face for the slave cyl. is setup to correctly fit on a GM bellhousing. You can make rod out of stock to the correct length, don't forget to get the nylon cap thinger, metal retainer with spring, and correct spring and mount for the return. Also don't use a stock CJ hydro line, get some AN fittings and hose, might be more expensive but flexes alot better with the body and if you get it slightly longer it can compensate if you want to do a body lift. Also it gets tight in the frame rails with making a custom 90* bend steel line.

I was thinking of using the novak kit and a cj master cyl on my 350 and sm465 conversion. Which master cyl iron duke or amc ?
