I would like to give it a try, I have some pretty good ideas but I have never seen it done. Does anyone know anything about building a full eleptical suspension. Please help!
Thanks,
Robert
If you didn't built it with your own hands, then it's not really yours.
Real trucks are built, not bought.
Its a fullsize thing, Jeep owners would'nt understand.

Ummm, yeah, isn't that what they used on old wagons and modelT's? It apparently wasn't as good a setup as 1/2 elliptical or you'd think they'd still use it. As far as using for off-road purposes, I can see where it would benefit you in one area. Downward travel. I don't know what setup yo have in mind, but I gather you're talking about a regular spring pack with another on top of it but upside down?
Why??? It seems totally unnecessary.

The only place it ever worked was on horse drawn buggies; and it wasn't on the axles it was on the SEAT.
You would not be able to locate your axle very well unless you used a link setup, and if you build links you might as well use coils or 1/4 elliptical.
