sweet!!!!

Have you flexed it out yet?
I'm wondering how far forward your front tire, and how rearward your rear tire ends up at full stuff? (any pics?)

I just cannot stand exo's, if ya are gonna go that far, why not just build a buggy

how did you reinforce the unibody's sub-frame where the control arms mount? I'm guessign you'll be going to some much larger tires, plus the weight of those axles. If you ever lift a tire, not saying you will...that unibody may get a little too tweaked. I'm sure you know that and did the right thing up front though...just looking for a close up pic of your home brew work.

Kinda Ironic your rig sits so damn high and you hate exo's..... probably the kinda person who hates bumpstops because your afraid your gonna lose travel......

Forget all that if you plan on dropping it about 5" at least

Fawk, at what point did I say that was the final lift height, I am already working on getting down some by playing with spring rate combinations, I just don't want it to end up too stiff or too soft

looks like a fun project, but as stated its really tall for rock crawling...

If you go softer springs you will lower it some but stability will decrease...

Looks like a fun rig to play with, but still too tall for alot of wheelin.
Muddin?

Yea I know, I had to start mounts at some point to get a reference with springs Still gotta play with spring rates and adjust the mounts accordingly. Someone had asked earlier about frame, I had some 3/16' channels custom made to cap the existing unibody rail and seam welded it . under that is a 1/4" 2x2 welded to the bottom of that for mounting points, basically like C-rocks. It has 2x2 cross braces. one that is used for the transmission cross member and the other as mounting point for the wishbone link in the rear. I have been using 1/4 plate to build all the brackets. The front hoops are 1 1/2" .250 DOM.

Ooohhh...

you mean coilovers are adjustable for height....

Ahh, give the guys a break, maybe they didn't know ;)

No what I mean is I am still trying to get a spring rate I am happy with and then I will adjust the mounts accordingly

sounds backwards to me. i would think you'd want the mounts where they will allow the travel and ride height your lookin for and then find a rate that works.

can't wait to see that (getting strapped ) on the 'Con :flipoff2:

It's a little high for my preference. Maybe you can swap out the CO's for some smaller ones.

after all the input as to how tall it is and its flopability? How the fawk is he going to get it out of the garage? Looks like the roofline and the garage door may be on the same level? maybe let the air out of the tires to clear the door? or worse, take the tires off and roll it out on a jack, then reinstall the tires? Just an observation dood, not knocking your hard work. Looks nice just a little tall, even with full width 60's.

I think that thing is awsome. Just need some bigger tires. What coilovers are those?

That front axle looks pretty close the inner fender well on the first pic. I guess when you lower it down it will push it out a lil, just curious if your trying to push your wheelbase out more or staying near stock. I like the coilovers and interior tube work though. Got any pics how you did the front coilovers in the engine bay??

thanks,
Rob

Theres a rig that i could see running the new 49" IROKs. God damn, its tall enough anyway. I still like my 38s on 8" lift and no fenders personally.

Nice work though.

Here's an Idea, Put your gas tank in the bed and push that rear 60 back about 10". And put some 44s on that bitch, that thing looks like the wind will blow it over.:flipoff2:

Oh yeah, what the hell do you plan on towing with that bitch?
