Year? will it smog?

scottz
08-25-2003, 11:37 PM
no idea. It's located right next to a smog shop, feel free to find out.

I'll guarantee *I* could make it pass, but thats not included in the price. If the emissions equipment on the truck you install this motor in is intact and functional it will almost certainly pass. If it's been messsed with and partially removed by dumb tweekers it will surely fail.

sorry about the rant, it's in an 82 manual 2wd.

the only reason Rush ever talked smack about Rio Linda is that he'd never been to Oroville.

no kidding, why is it that as soon as sombody starts using dope tampering or removing emissions equipment becomes priority #1?

also, the truck has 4 BRAND NEW tires, probably 185R14 or something like that.

First come first served. Hurry before somebody snags this insane deal. The wrecking yards aound here want more than that for just the motor, let alone an entire driving truck.

That truck looks like a DD to me, wish I wan't so tapped out right now! Unless you want to trade for a 67 bug I just got, no idea on backfees yet, looks to be tagged up till 2001, ? I want it to drive around, I want to many toys!

to use this for a daily driver you would need:

-smog and tags. I'll guess the fees are right around $150

-ignition switch or other theft deterrent

-Jumpstart

-gasoline

I'm in need of a quick buck, otherwise I'd hose this thing off, smog it and stick it on the corner for $950. I've paid more than $500 for a freakin engine before. At this point and time, however, I'm needing some siding and windows and a few nails, not an "almost daily driveable" 2wd toyota pickup cause I've allready got one. So I'm passing the savings on to you, bro.
