ive got a 99 blaster i bought new and recently the bike doesnt like to start after sitting and sometimes when im riding wide open for a while it will just shut off and wont restart for a few minutes it doesnt feel hot when it does this either is there common ignition problem with these i should be ooking for or what???

does it bog a little bit? check the plug. might be running rich. If it didn't do this before and has started just recently, its probably running rich. If it was running well in the warm weather and now not so good in the cold weather it could be running hot, which is not good, especially for a 2 stroke. Time to learn how to jet a carburetor.
