Is trhat chromoly? If so talk about bank! then add labor  . Oh and then there is still the rest of the rig to bolt on $$$$$$$$, and of coarse you can't go without the $13,000 portals. and in the end sweet you got something worth more then a Hummer............and you realize oh I can't drive it on the street. Wish I could drop cash like that.

Unless you snag the title and serial plates off of an old totaled vehicle (perhaps a suburban). Then just throw on the approriate lights, and other goodies. Boom you've got yourself a street legal rig.

And then you gotta add - to a sniper - glass, lights, mirrors, wipers, God knows what else - I know for NJ inspection they now do some kind of vodoo math thing based on wheelbase vs. height vs. tire size vs. inspector's dick size.
So glad I moved outta NJ.

unless you register it in texas, where all you need is a vin, headlights, and the little lights that light up your licence plate. You don't even need turn signals, you can legally use your hands.

So PeeWee shoulda seen his movie in Texas I guess, being able to legally use his hands and all.

The ZL-71 is being constructed with mild steel DOM, the axles are the Avalanche Advantage. We are putting a steering box on it with high steer, and radial Baja claws. It will be very street worthy, and we are titleing it as a 2002 kit car. Thanks, Clifton:jeep:

there are all the critics' disbeliefs and questions answered right from the main man's mouth :D

I like the kit car idea....I need to check into that for CA....my jeep is due for smog and it's an '87 a few days from turning in a '53 :D:D:D
