I see from your local your in California.
My grandparents just sold their 1200 sq. ft. house just sold for 240,000. I fell over when I heard that. They lived in Roseville.

I looked at a 2bd 1ba house on the outskirts of LG in Mar of 2000. It was about 800 sf and the asking price was around $425,000. Ack!
