finally got the boss to do the upgrade. Thank god.

whats up with this? If i go to select something with multiple crossing windows if deselects the last item crossed. Like. say i have 2 parts that i need to move at the same time but i cant pick them with the same crossing window. I'll pick the first one, but when i go to pick the second one it deselcts the first. Does the same thing when actually picking straight on the object instead of useing a crossing window.

Any help?

Not sure how the app works as Ive never touched autocad, but many of the other CAD apps that I work in, if you hold down the control key while you are selecting then you can select as many items as you want.

Had the same problem in '02. Very annoying :p

If it's the same, go to Tools/Options/Selection. Turn off "Use shift to add selection"

Had the same problem when we switched to 2004. It's just an option like Welby said.

I think someone was fawking with me because every once in a while it would reset itself so I had to change it agian.
