Whenever I go wheelin at a higher than normal altitude my ABS light comes on... I have just been ignoring and havent had any problems but I was just wondering if there is anything I should do... should I unplug the battery to let the computer reset? Or just ignore it like I have been and done worry about it?

ABS is not affected by alt, its something else

What do you consider high altitude? I live at 4500 and I regularly drive the 395 mountain pass (can't remember the actual height but it's up there) and I never see it.

Sounds like you got a sensor going out.

What are you driving? Where are the ABS sensors?

Couple possibilities:
There could be an air pocket under the sensor that is expanding with altitude and causing the sensor to back off and not get a reading. That could trigger the light.

Or, an air pocket in a sensor expanding causing the connection to go bad.

Try pushing the sensors in if possible.
Otherwise, maybe replace?
