As much as it sucks - and I KNOW it sucks I tihnk you are stuck taking the carrier apart again - (still have the little washer and wingnut dealie to install and remove it right???)

I dont think there is much else to do - sorry for the lame advice as I just finished putting mine together last week and they are a big PITA to tear down for something in the carrier.... (I welded mine so the can't be non functional... :flipoff2: )

That would do it - makes the lash too tight so the teeth cannot slip past each other - happy day; have fun tearing that sucker apart -

Matt

Those flat thrust washers are a pain in the but when the get oil on them they just do not want to be lifted up

Their used to be some rockwell how to info on this website but it almost all is gone. As a matter a fact Im (today) installing my lockers and would have liked to reference some of that material.

I specifically recall a how to install lockers with steps and pics.

And a how to get the play out of the diff article with pics and steps.

But now that Daniel and all his Tech is gone this is a better place:rolleyes:
