: Altering Rancho Springs....?????

Looks like I'll be replacing the stock CJ (fronts) with a set of Rancho lifted springs to be used as rear springs. The spring rate of the Ranchos is 325, I'm guessing a bit stiff for a Sami even one that carries a lot of weight. What would be the best way to approach altering them (removing several leaves ?) to make them a bit more compliant? The Rancho CJ's are 5 leaf.......
For comparison's sake, a set of Rancho rear springs for a Sami is app. 156.......
Thanks...

I actually added a leaf to my Rancho springs. It allowed me to do more than one trip through the Rubicon before they flattened out and had to be replaced.
