I am positive that at least a chevy v8 can be put in... what's the upper limit, without say, cutting backwards into the console to make room. Cutting up through the hood would be doable, a little bit.

I think that a v10 could fit with some very careful fabrication and a slightly raised hood section, and with moving some of the parts out of the way- if the truck were lifted say 4" total some of the parts could be dropped just a tad to make more room.

Suggestions? Flames? No worries- I've got my titanium underwear on.

[Edit: I still have no clue about the moderators here, and even though everyone is using the little flipoff avvy, I decided not to use it at the end. It's immature and silly anyway.

i haver a 350 in my trooper and it is pretty tight...............length is the real issue.

i don't see you getting a big block in there.....and if you did you would certianly need a remote mounted radiator...to keep it cool

I did some measuring one day. Figured the 2nd gen compartment was about 4 inches short of the standard GM/Chevy compartment. So yes you could fit a big block in, without getting into the firewall but cooling could become an issue.

well i know getting a 350 to fit in a luv is a delicate act. Everything will fit but it takes work and you have to run the short watter pump.
