I'm looking for some stiffer Rear springs for my TJ that will be about 2 1/2" longe and a spring rate higher than 105#. I looked for a cross ref. but could not find one, any suggestions??

OME will suit you just fine.
Go with the heavy duty springs designed for hardtops.

I think OMEs are nice, but even the light duty springs have a rating higher than 105 pounds, I am sure. My Tera 3" have 180#, I think factory is around 150#. HTH

Do you want a higher spring rate than the 105# ones that you have now because you want a stifffer ride, or because your springs that you have now are sagging. You know, I hope, that *spring rate* is how stiff the spring is, and *load rate* is how much the spring can carry at a given height. You can have a spring with a low "spring rate", that is a soft spring, and still have a high "load rate", that is it can carry a "high" load (noumber of pounds) at, say, your requested 2 1/2 height above stock. When a spring sags, the "load rate" has decreased, but the "spring rate" (stiffness) remains the same.

Then I guess I need a higher load rate. How do you determine that??? I have sky jacker 2 1/2" coils w/ 1/2" spacer, a kilby skid (65#) and a 35" spare. After I added the spare it squatted down the rear and has a lot more bounce. Where can I find out more about load rates and so on???????
