Heres what I have.

Its been this way since I did the axle swap back in 96. At the time no one I know of was doing high steer set ups, so this is what I came up with. It works great, only one problem. Just before getting to the steering stops the tie rod hits the diff cover. Didnt have that problem with the scout knuckles I origionally had on there, but the arms were too high and I had to space down the tie rod to clear the springs. I dont really want to spend the cash to go to a high steer set up since the tie rod is already pretty high and I dont have a problem with the angles I'm running, no bumpsteer. Any ideas for cheap knuckles with the steering arm at the same height as a cj 30 knuckle but a lil longer? I'm hoping that when I cut and turn the front axle It will help a bit as I rotate the pinion up.

It never bothered me before, but I put on different wheels this weekend so now the tires dont rub the springs and limit my steering that way.

Cutting and modifying the cover really isnt an option because I have an OX locker to install up front that has its own cover. Yea yea, I know, ditch the OX, but I have it, so I might as well use it. Hell, its been sitting in a box on my desk at work for almost 2 years now.

Any ideas for a cheap fix?
