Anybody know where I can buy one of these, or anybody have one laying around? I broke mine. I need the chrome piece and the lens.

Also I never understood when people say left hand or right hand side of a vehicle. Is this looking at it or if you were in the drivers seat  :flipoff2:

my immediate thoughts were the round ones at the bottom of the bib (can you tell all my stuff is 60's :D ), but now i'm inclined to believe he wants the ones on the sides of the aprons. the rectangular ones facing forward on the fenders are turn signals unless he's got the later style, but those don't have chrome trim rings, so i don't think that would be what he wants. specifics are a wonderful thing.

The later ones are or right or left hand because they are larger and have a lens on the side of it... But from ther chrome you are mentioning, you're right, no difference...

I think I have one with no plans to use it. I'll check tonight, $5 and shipping?

PS it's off a FJ55, but I don't think there's a difference?

if you're talking the turn signals, there is a diff in the plastic "stalk". it's not angled as sharply on a piggie.

:D LOL Sorry guys.

Its off my 72 FJ40. Its the markers off the side of the apron right in front of the land cruiser emblem. So #3 and #7 in the picture.

thanks

older 2wd Toyota pickups use the same marker lights...I got mine off of a 78 2wd pickup...same lights...

You can find those at the wrecking yard on early toy P/Us. :skull:

Try a mid 70s Toyota Celica. I raided the pic and pull in Sacramento and got 5 marker lights for $3.50 each. The only difference is the rubber is not as thick, but the lights and metal pieces are exactly the same.

OK guess I will try a wrecking yard or somthing. Its just a pain in the ass to go to one here. It takes me 45 min to get there and then when I am there I cant find crap. What is it about Oregon and their wrecking yards?

Sorry, I thought those were the new ones. I see listings about every couple weeks.

The ones off of a suzuki sammy fit perfectly and you don't have to bother with a wedge shaped rubber gromet thingy or a stupid little easily bent up chrome ring.

I've had the sammy ones on for years and they work fine and have the same shape as the toy ones. PS they have the same company name on the lens.

Is there one that works on the rear as well?

I haven't found one that fit perfectly. I tried the celica and then some toy pickup ones but they didn't fit perfect. I eventually got tired of trees shaving them off and just put the remainder of the light (the metal cage w/ bulb) on the inside of the truck and put red tailight tape over the opening(on the inside so it wouldn't get scrapped off again).
