Does anyone make one? Would be going in an 88 zuk with SOA and 3" national springs running 33s or 35s on the stock axles with 5.38 gears and a 4.16 T-case. Its not a daily driver and regardless of what I tell my friend he's going to do that to stock axles. Hell I told him to go with Fullwidth D44s but does he listen to me? Nooooooooo. Oh well he just needs to know if anyone mkaes them. Thanks:D

There is a rumor that Randy's R+P will be supplying one (manufacturer unknown) in the next few months. There is not a spool currently available.

i have been dreaming of a drop in spool. what i mean is you would get a block machined to drop into the stock carrier that had the right spline count and everything. bore some holes through for the cross shafts and voila!! drop in spool. any feedback on this idea. it seems like a simple idea. just make it consistently the same length and you can use the stock side gear shims.

Never had the chance to see one, but they make a mini spool. It's a drop in and I think the price starts around $60. The problem I see with it is the stock carrier, it's weak.

Havn't seen a welded unit last in a Zuk. You can always go the Babbit locker. Fill the carrier with lead. Or, Weld between two teeth on the side gears 180 degrees apart. This working k\like a locker more than a spool, if you drive it on the street.

We should have spools ready about Mid-Winter. Pricing will likely be about the same as a locker.

Seriously, is there someone offering a "mini-spool" for $60 for Samurai axles?

save yourself the $60 bucks and do what moto said. you'll destroy the carrier or the axles, not to mention birfields, befire you break the welds.
