Skyetone 12-05-2001, 09:08 PM I am a TTC junkie and just ordered some NWRCA vids (one for me and one as a gift) Thought about 2000 NWRCA but can't find it now. Big rock kinda gets old and repeditive. I am looking for some decent content of RC and mud and mountains and whatever. Did bigrock ever get there proving grounds vid done? I need my winter fix. Link up and tell all on SERIOSLY BADD ASS CARNAGE STYLE VIDEOS!!!!

Check these guys out. There making a video right now from the UROC 2001 series. Should be pretty good. :)
pcorssmit 12-06-2001, 08:29 AM I second the http://www.4xvideo.com suggestion. Much more fast paced than other commercial videos I've seen, lots better action.

aaronlosey 12-06-2001, 09:25 AM i am all for 4xvideo.com, since i work there and all. go check out the website i built. there are lots of free vids you can download, and galleries of our runs. also see avalanche project vehicles (the denver store) in progress when i have time to trek all the next door to see whats going on there.

then maybe you ought to fix your spelling error:
<i>"incre<b>a</B>dible vehicles!!!"</i> :flipoff2:
RoCkSkuLLz 12-06-2001, 10:43 AM How long are the 4xvideo's? Thats one thing I like about the Big Rock vid's they're usually over 2 hours of championships coverage..
aaronlosey 12-06-2001, 11:05 AM hmmmm.... :flipoff2: thats for the spelling eror, the vids are really long, the moab one just doesn't seem to end. lots of music, avalanche rigs, snipers, the bruiser, those skyjacker tjs pounding dana 30s with 38's on dump bump bouncing off the rev limiter. all kindas a crazy junk.
aaronlosey 12-06-2001, 11:10 AM hey, i just noticed who threw that smack down, howdy lance. nice site, i like it alot, great stuff. if you want to check out our vids, i will mail you a few for free, but you have to actually watch them.
Skyetone 12-06-2001, 05:33 PM I too am wondering on time frames and what trails you cover in the moab. What is the time frame on most vids.
aaronlosey 12-06-2001, 08:29 PM moab ended up being about 2 hours or more, lots of extreme coverage, with the hellderados, golden spike, sand drags, dump bump, potato salad hill, rusty nail, and a few others. the most extreme footage was on upper and lower hell. the rest is extreme because of the use of the stupid pedal, and cliff rolling the bruiser around in the hot tubs. great stuff. also, its not just all jeeps, we have some full size iron hitting the harder stuff, with sheet metal scraping everywhere.
Skyetone 12-06-2001, 08:34 PM So my next point is that on your sight in IE i cannot download you player because of some "missing link"? How long is the colorado one? whats it all about, and also the ice drags. No I am not an armchair wheeler:flipoff2:
Jeepmangled87 12-06-2001, 09:57 PM Try some Rick Russel videos get them at your Local 4wheel parts store!!! :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :rainbow:
aaronlosey 12-06-2001, 11:04 PM two of the videos are offline, when you put your mouse over them, they say that. you can't even try to download them. did you download the divx codec first? hmmm... the clips are 30 secs apx, 320x240, and around 3megs. to get that quality, i used divx, a video "codec" which simply like a video version of mp3s. simply download the 700k divx, run it, then watch all the videos. kinda sucks if you aren't on a decent internet connection, but we already all know this. on my cable modem downloading from my own site i can hit over 100k sometimes, and the same with my friends dsl.
but anyways, i just went to the videos and tried to play them and they worked from the computer i am at now. does anybody else have trouble opening the clips? if you do, i would like to know so i can figure out whats wrong and fix it. i run IE, so i don't have any problems.

JONYJEEPER 12-11-2001, 06:06 PM i dont know if its still available... but i know that it sucked ass... suburban white guys didn't do it.
aaronlosey 12-11-2001, 09:09 PM has anybody bothered to watch our junk? tell me what you think. we are going on the out door channel soon, our pilot episode has the assassin with 48s on it in new mexico competing. that vid isn't out yet though, the last thing we did was extreme moab 2001
CRAWLR 12-11-2001, 09:23 PM I just got the NWRCA video from www.difficulttrail.com and it kicks ass! Just got an e-mail saying the calrocs video is done and will be shipping soon. Can't wait! :bounce:
Skyetone 12-12-2001, 06:47 AM why is 4xvideos out the door as you say?
mustang89 12-17-2001, 10:01 PM Here is a video that pretty much rocks. Intense wheelin action set to hard core indie bands. 40 min of carnage for only $14.99, that includes shipping. Check out the demo at www.4x4slamdown.com
4xvideo's moab is sick. 2+ hours, pete and his blazer getting it awn in upper hell, i am not a "jeep" guy but the bruiser is bad ass and that little TJ did well keeping up on some of the lines those "extreme" (gawd i h8 that word) rigs. the sniper made the bump dump look like a curb. nuthing like watching rigs dance on thier rear mounted spare:D
i liked it, the GF likes it, and the  buddies like it
Skyetone 12-18-2001, 05:38 PM Hey mustang like I said before I am local. where do I go get one? most vids are at least 90 min BTW.
Skyetone 12-18-2001, 05:40 PM oh and HELOOOOO me 4xvideo guy.... I asked a simple Q :D
mustang89 12-18-2001, 06:08 PM Just order at our web site. The shipping is free anyway. www.4x4slamdown.com
We are working deals to get it in stores, but you'll pay $20 plus from them so...
BRUISER-42 12-18-2001, 07:57 PM Skyetone, the 4x guy meant the outdoor channel. It is a cable channel with fishing, hunting, mountain bikes and soon a real off road show. Put together by 4Xextreme.
Skyetone 12-18-2001, 09:14 PM thanx bruiser. Now I wish I had cable :D I actually have one of two of 4xvideos tapes here but they are to be seen after x-mas. It almost kills me though.
Hey mustang for a whopping 40 minutes I think i will pass for know. the price is good and all but has anyone off of this board bought one of your vids? I know you have had some "issues" here in the past as far as selling the vids. Maybee if someone could attest that your vid was killer and not some homegrown wobblie tape amature POS then maybee Id grab one now. If not maybee later.
mustang89 12-18-2001, 09:47 PM If you visit our website (www.4x4slamdown.com) and read the testimonials page you will see what people think about 4x4slamdown. I am not sure on Pirate4x4 who has bought a copy, I don't know their real names so it is kind of hard to track. We have had orders from across the Nation & Canada
We decided to try something different with 4x4Slamdown. We are sick of the regualr offroad formats, if you want that then this isn't for you! Instead of 2 hours of long drawn out shots like other offroad videos. We have produced a fast paced adrenaline rushing 4x4 action video set to some of the best hard edge indie bands anywhere.
Take a look at our preview video at 4x4slamdown.com and you will see that it isn't a "wobblie POS" or a home grown amateur video........ Pretty good for using Fisher Price cameras and its in color :)
Skyetone 12-18-2001, 10:04 PM its all good. How long ya been around? Seems as though a few months here on the BBS....
mustang89 12-18-2001, 10:35 PM As a company we have been around since last year. As far as experience goes, individually we have been involved in the video production, television & movie business for quite a few years. Got my first video camera about 15 years ago in 6th grade and have been having fun ever since! :)
We decided to jump in to the fun stuff and see if we could break the mold!
SwampDonkey_jr 12-19-2001, 12:58 AM Is 4x4slamdown prepared to export globally do you think? Coz i'd be keen to make them avalible to the masses down here.
