After a few deep water crossings the other day I left the Jeep sitting in the parking lot for a few days before I could clean it up, and wouldn't you know, when I got in it to move it the clutch would not disengage. I need some suggestions on how to best break the clutch loose from the flywheel. So far all I've tried was cranking the motor over with the starter while holding the brakes on...no go. Help me out here!

is it possible to put it in 2nd.....start it and drive it? I dunno, maybe driving a mile or two and trying to pump it up might help?

Are you sure it is STUCK or maybe issues with the master or something preventing it from having the pressure to disengage?

I did try driving it around the parking lot of my apartment complex for a litle while, both in 2H 1st gear and even 4L through all the gears. I jerked it around a little, but only ended up with a bunch of black marks around the parking lot. Of course I did this while repeatedly pushing the clutch pedal. Being a 79 CJ, it has a manual clutch linkage. Maybe I'll take it for a drive around town later. Should be fun with no clutch!!

Well, I just went out and jumped in it to drive it around the block, and it broke loose right away. Thanks for the help Keith.
