: ? for those with chevy outers on ford 44

my question is, do i have to use the hub and rotor assembly from a chevy with chevy spindles and stuff??? i have good ford hub and rotor that i would like to use/....please help?

also, which shafts do i need to use? chevy or ford?

I'm going to assume you have Chevy knuckles on a Ford 44. If you have pre-77 Chevy flat top knuckles and spindles you can use the Ford hubs and rotors (along with the Chevy calipers). Use the Ford outer shafts. It has to be pre-77 Chevy 44 though so that the Ford bearings will work on the spincle.

You can use either outer shaft. The ford is slightly shorter, so you may not be able to get the ret. ring on if you use it. Don't worry about it, though, it isn't necessary.

yeah i have flat tops from a 76' p.u. and the outers are off of a 10 bolt 3/4 ton....
