Hi there is an ongoing thread in the Chat section:

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=17154

But I wanted a broader spectrum of responders, and I still would like the following questions answered:

How good are those no hex key blade clamps? (Quik- Clamp system etc)

How much blade deflection do you have to deal with (lets say a 45 degree mitered cut in 1.5" .120 wall tubing?

I am specifically looking at one of the Porter Cable 11.5 A unit

I've got a milwaukee with the "quick clamp" sytem for the blade.

I was skeptical at first...used to the old style...I've used it plenty and never had a problem...it's actually really good..just pop the blade out, and pop in a new one all with a little twist.

As far as blad edeflection not sure what you are asking exactly.
From my experience sawzalls are less than ideal for making mitred cuts etc...just because of the vibration, blade flex, and movement of the tool in your hands.

Get a chop saw for that.
Or a band saw.
It'll do in a pinch,, but its less than ideal IMO.
