12/10/01 VIRUS IS GONE AND MY EMAIL IS GOOD.
Godamn fawkers, who the hell does this to people? They should be flogged! Virus sent things out to 70 people but none that I know of actually got a virus thank god.

I received a virus from someone on this board. They unknowingly sent an email to me that contained a virus and now anybody in my address book in outlook express is receiving random things from other people that the virus links to or personal stuff from my Word program. The virus is in the body of the message not the attachments so if you open it and your antivirus is not updated it will attach to all of your email addresses and send out your personal things as well as all the people previously linked to you.
It is the vbsloveletter virus.

Please don't open it because you may get the virus and also please don't open it because it may contain very personal content.

Just to let you know after I got it I checked for viruses and came up with nothing.

Just to let everybody know the reason that I posted this here is I got it from someone on this board and I have bought and sold and replied to many people form this section and wanted everybody to know about this virus. Hopefully nobody got the virus. I could not email the moderator or people that run this because it would be taking the chance that I would spread the virus even more. Sorry for any trouble and the virus is now gone from my system along with all of the addresses. The damn thing sent stuff out and erased all of the addresses so I could not even let people know what was up after I removed the virus.
