So what's the easiest solution to take care of the passenger side ubolt not lining up right after cutting and turning the pinion up? The long ubolt looks like it is gonna be off about 3/4'' from lining up with the holes in the top plate.Should I redrill a new top plate with the holes lining up with the ubolts or try to bend the ubolt I have?

I bent the front so it hugs the housing and then just opened the u bolt up to the corect width. Its been fine for 3 years now. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I still have to get the front brake line problem fixxed(too short),add gear oil to the pumpkin,get the driveshaft modified AGAIN, and figure out what I will need for shocks,and probably longer shock towers(F250).What length or travel are your shocks?

When I rotate 12 degrees or less, I just gring off the welds on the housing on each side, that will give you more than 1/4" of free movement.

12 degrees is exactly what I turned mine. I am gonna give it a run with the bent ubolt. I think that it will be fine, but if not I may try the grinding idea. Thanks

I went with the 9012's because I can turn them up for city driving (less roll in corners) Something like 14" of travel. And I use it all. Go get the F250 shock towers. For 16 bucks a piece you can hardly beat them.

So the longest travel shock you can get.. Usually it is like 14"

Another option is to use a larger u-bolt <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0"> Back in the days when FabTech was selling cut and turned housings, they supplied the buyer with a larger u-bolt for the passenger's side.
