They've evacuated the next town over because of the fire so I went up to the evacuation center at the local high school. 3000 people including hundreds of elderly and scores of families with kids. I offered 2 queen sized beds and breakfast tomorrow to almost everyone. No takers. I literally walked the freakin parking lot talking to complete strangers. Course, I had to do that because the crack team put together by the Red Cross didn't have anyway to place the displaced.


All is going to be well though because CDF is going to do a night time 'controlled burn' to effect a fire break. yeah right

Whats the latest on the fire ?what area is it in ?Is It affecting the silverwood area?Thats cool of you to offer your pad,dose that include dinner.Me and my son might be intrested:D

As of last night, it was heading up towards Running Springs, for anyone that was at the SoCal Meet and Greet, it is the first town you came too at the top of the mountain.:(

I'm sure 330 will be closed for awhile. I'll take a ride later this morning and get the scoop.
