Ah, wash the sand out of yer crack, and lighten up. Yes people go there, yes there is stuff to do. If you never been just drive there to check it out once. Make sure you call though, some times it's closed because of an event taking place like VORRA will be in two weeks.

Yes she does, and makes my life much easier.....................

If y'all would remind me, I'll bring some of the back issues of the Dusty Times with me to the next race so y'all can see your work in print...........

And one more thing before I forget, I talked to Chris in Hawthorne. I'll bring that check with me and let y'all get it taken care of.

Its an okay place to go if you have nothing better to do. I am actually going out there tomorow to get a feel for my new suspension.

The "obstacle course" obstacles are kind of boring, but beats wheeling at the mall!

You can do everyhting inthe 4x4 area in about 30 minutes if you go slow.

Prairie City rocks and here's why. Its a great place to figure out if something you changed on your rig will work on the trail without getting there to find out. The other is that guy who thinks he's ready for the Rubicon just because he put 31" tires on his Jeep. Take him across the mini rubicon and the rock pile and then tell him "Picture this but a lot worse for like 13 to 18 miles all day". Then he and you can decide if he's ready for the Con or Fordyce before going and ruining his, yours, and the people behind you's weekend. Nothing wrong with Slick Rock and Deer Valley or Prairie City before you hit the Con.
It also makes for a great place for your kids to try wheeling dad's rig:D

Prairie City is a fun place to go and spend a day that isn't very far away. They want to build it up and get more rocks in there but that depends on if people go there and will continue to go there and support the place. I think it is only as fun as you make it.

this place can be fun but it is kind of a half day thing and you've done every thing. The mud pit can be pretty deep after a rain and the hills are pretty easy. But the frame twister and mini-con are decent.

WTF you couldnt find someone to pull you out for free? When I went there I spent half of the time pulling out idiots. I guess they really bought into the comercials about stock 4X4's being able to wheel.

I went there after it had been raining for a week and had just stopped. The mud makes it much more fun, at any other time its pretty lame. I lost my Aternator there and just barely made it home...

Bring a hose if you go in the winter, they have spickets for washing off your truck but no hose.

Dont get carried away with drinking/smoking there. They watch it pretty closely.

Oh yeah and they have a :rainbow: poser ramp for the all important picture.

That was the cost of a new clutch, tow job from out side of the gate and front and rear diff seals. I got pulled out by a tundra and an old runner. Made it out of the park and turned right to go home to camino and the damned thing didn't wont to leave 1st gear. Left it over night and nothing was stollen. Kinda cool. The next trip cost $4. A hose is a good idea
