Did you mean real tow rig or real POS wanna be trail rig truck???:flipoff2: :flipoff2: Glad you bought a zuk now you can go on trails less the 12ft wide.....LOL.....:flipoff2: welcome
Shrock 09-07-2003, 04:03 PM I've hit my roller fairlead a bit. :D
My plan is to use 2x4x.250 tube for the majority of the bumper and 1-1/2x.250 tube for the rest. I figure the main tube across the front will have 2 2x4 uprights notched and a 2x4 upper crossbar, then 1-1/2" headlight hoops on either side. Winch plate will be 1/2" plate with a couple gussets that will also serve as shackle mounts.
I know it'll be heavy as fawk but screw it. I want it beefy 'cuz it'll definitely get banged around. I'll build it in place welded to the end of the frame rails.

HZJ60_Guy 09-08-2003, 07:37 AM I like Brent Bradshaws design. Good approach angle, and it's tough.

I love it. Tough as all hell. Dropped off 4 foot ledge at night on the 'con and landed square on the roller fairlead. Didn't even phase it.

Cool, I knew you had to be close. :)
SilverZuk 09-08-2003, 11:05 AM Here's mine.
Yes, it's ghetto but tough.
The brush gaurd is just that. I will rework it someday, but have too many other things going right now.
SilverZuk 09-08-2003, 11:06 AM The mounts are to the body mount with a 1/2 inch bolt and the stock mounts on the end of the frame.
psf4x4 09-08-2003, 12:32 PM these are the same exact pictures of bumpers that got posted a month ago when "bryan sheets" ask this question. :flipoff2:bumpers (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=151862&highlight=bryansheets)
