ANY help here would be appreciated. Bought a sammi with a blown motor and swapped in a 1.6L, used the stock carb. Cut and welded the oil pickup tube to use the 1.3L oil pan. After the swap i took it fo a trip where I lost the front seal and gradually lost oil pressure. Since then I have tried:
Cleaning out the oil pump (2x)
Using some STP oil thickener
Replacing the pump with the pump out of the1.3
More STP
JB welding over the weld to try and stop any holes.

The best result I had was ursing the STP, I would get two trips around the block before I lose all pressure. When cold and at idle I'll get ~30psi. one or two trips around the block its gone. Anyone deal with this before? ANY suggestions?

I have a similiar problem with my 1.3, and was told that it most likely was my main bearings. I'll get pressure as high as 60 when cold at an idle, but after she warms up, I'm down to 12-15 in idle, and about 25-30 at 2500rpm.

I've been stuffing Prolong oil treatment in there, and basically decided when I scrape enough cash together, I'm upgrading to the 1.6.
