: EB 9" width compared to 79 D60 rear snowman75 09-07-2003, 04:12 PM I have a 79 D60 rear coming for my EB, and was wondering how much wider it is compared to the 9". I'm trying to figure out if I should narrow it or run full width ( I also have a 3/4 ton 44 coming) thanks for any info. Shoope1 09-11-2003, 03:13 PM If you cut the 44 down to match the rear then I would just use the 9" rear unless its a small bearing one. You can run a 35 spline set up that is as big if not bigger than a 60 rear. Me and a buddy put a 35 spline 9" axle next to a D70 and it was really close to the same size axle. Just the splines is different. If their is a guru here correct me if I am wrong. | |
