I am trying to get my starter installed as we speak...When I do, how do I wire it up for the things that would normally connect to the starter solenoid?? I called Summit to make sure the solenoid was in fact on the starter. They said yes.

It has a post for negative, positive, and starter switch.

I can't use it for 12 switched, or can I??

You cant use the old one for a switched power source what makes you think a remote one would work?

What are all the wires that connect to the solenoid on the firewall now??

I don't even know what the one on the firewall is for.

So for the new one, do I just connect the positive to the battery, connect the starter tab to the starter switch and call it done??
